What should I bring?
We'll supply worksheets for you, but you may want a notebook and pens/highlighters. It also helps if you have a general idea of your household (if working from home) or salon bills before you arrive. You will keep this information private but use it in the worksheets we guide you through. You'll need a calculator too but of course most of us have these on our phones.
What do I get for my money?
Inspiration and motivation! Plus we know you want the certificate. But in all seriousness, this class is one of our favourites. You will leave feeling confident in how much to charge and knowing that you're worth every cent. You'll have tonnes of ideas on how to improve the way you do business, get clients, keep clients and do your marketing. Here are a few testimonials -
"Amazing, course. I highly recommend it. Well worth the investment in your business, and future" - Amy Hallahan from Dazzled with Beauty

8.30am – How Much It Costs To Run A Business
Let’s explore how much it actually costs to run a business – you might be surprised.
10.15am - Market Positioning
Once we know how much it costs to run a business, we’ll explore your local competitors and their pricing structure – it’s important to know the market you’re entering and analyse your pricing accordingly. When your position and costs are both clear, we’ll help you set your prices to fit the market and cover not just your bills but a nice wage for yourself too.
11.30am – Break
12pm - How to Get Clients to Pay What You’re Asking
We now know what to charge and why but a lot of our trainees worry about competing with lower priced nail bars. We’ll show you how to get your clients to pay what you’re asking (happily!).
12.45pm - The Dangers of Undercharging
At this point a few of you are still unconvinced that you can really ask for the prices we’ve covered. This afternoon we discuss the dangers of undercharging and how it could affect your business. We’ll also briefly cover how to increase your prices when you eventually reach that point.
1.30pm – Break
2pm - Marketing and Social Media
Next we spend some time learning how to market your business across social media and in other ways. We’ll cover top tips for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
4pm - Photography
Social Media is nothing without a good photo, and if you spend as much time searching Nail Art images as we do, you know the difference an incredible image makes. We’ll teach you how to get great photos with nothing more than the camera on your phone.
4.30pm – The Idea of Mystery Shoppers
Finish the day off easy - we look at personal presentation, the representation of your salon, and what clients really see when they walk in.
