Looking for a qualification that covers everything nails? Click here!
It was a big deal for use to start offering online training to beginners (we've done it for advanced students for a long time now) because I firmly believe that you can't learn nails without an educator looking over you to see your mistakes and correct you in real time.
In saying that, I've become acutely aware over the last couple of years, how many people are enrolling in really dodgy online training, super quick in person training OR just going for it with no training, purely because they can not get to training they can afford.
I believe there is a middle ground.
Our online modules are super detailed and we are very very proud of them. They contain more content and demos than any affordable live class ever could. They of course also give students access to Educators via Facebook and email, but it's just not the same.
Introducing... Virtual Classrooms.
Starting with one Wednesday a month (we plan on adding a weekend morning and/or some evenings soon), our Educators will be available in a video-based classroom for the entire day. You tune in with a link we provide using the camera on your phone. We can see what you're doing. You can what we're doing. We can see your mistakes and show you in real time how to fix them.
You can choose to use this time to work on your Portfolio, sit Assessments, or to practice anything you have been stuck on. You need to supply your own models or you can find a buddy and work on each other. There is no Course Plan - it is up to you to decide how you spend your day and what models you need at what time. The Educator will be available the entire time to help and demo as needed.
These video classrooms are free for all Online Students or available for $199/day to all others. Email us firstname.lastname@example.org if you only want a half day. Online students can come and go all day as they please.
To get the best out of your experience, I would suggest getting an Octopus Tripod from Trade Me (they're under $5), attaching your phone to it, and attaching the Octopus to your overhead desk light so that your phone camera is facing down over your work space. Make sure your phone can be plugged in to its charger from your desk and that you have a good wifi signal.
If you live near another student - get together at the same house/salon and stream in together!
This is the future of accessible training for everyone!
This is how others set up to join in (those are hair ties!)
Will I be qualified as a Nail Tech when I finish this course?
No, this is a workshop designed to compliment other training.
How do I sign up?
Easy! Click on the Enrol button above or email email@example.com to register your interest with one of our educators or ask any extra questions you have. You can also view our FAQs here.
We're so pleased you want to join this class! Fill in your details below and we'll get back to you within 2 business days.
Your place on the course is guaranteed, pending payment. Full payment is required within 48 hours and late payments may result in your enrolment being reversed. This is because we run at small class sizes (4-8 students per Educator) and therefore at small margins meaning that we can't risk turning away other enrolments.
Payment can be made by Bank Transfer to Monaco Nail Artists Ltd, ASB 12 3233 0616846 05. We also accept payment by Credit Card, Q Card, Gem Visa or Oxipay although these payments incur a 3% surcharge.
In the meantime, please take the time to watch this video as it explains everything else you need to know about your course -
