You heard correctly – we are giving away a full scholarship to our nationally recognised Nail Tech qualification, The Foundation Certificate in Nail Technology.
Not only that but EVERY applicant will receive 20% off the course of their choice, whether or not they are successful in their application.
This course covers the theory behind nail technology, manicures, pedicures, gel polish, dipping, acrylic, hard gel and polygel. Our most successful graduates have completed this qualification and many have found the success they always dreamed of.
This scholarship includes everything a paying student would receive:
- All classes, either in person or online, that are required to complete the qualification
- Free use of our products within our Auckland studio
- Six free attempts at the Theory Assessment
- Unlimited attempts at practical assessments
- Ability to repeat classes for free for 12 month (conditions apply)
The recipient will still be required to complete all course criteria:
- Perfect attendance of in person classes OR full completion of online lessons
- 80% passing grade on the Theory Assessment
- 80% passing grade on three practical assessments – manicures, acrylics and either hard gel or polygel
- 17 portfolio submissions divided across all modules
Here’s how you can apply:
- Enrol in our online business course, ‘Salon Success: Introduction‘ and ‘Salon Success: Creating a Business Plan‘. Normally valued at $55, these courses are FREE from now until 30 September 2019 using the coupon code ‘scholarship’.
- Complete these modules in full, ending by submitting a cover letter and business plan (these are ‘assignments’ within the course and can be done online).
- Within your cover letter, tell us who you are, what your goals are as a Nail Tech and how this scholarship would impact your life and career.
- While not compulsory, character references will be taken into consideration if included with any application.
- All submissions are due by Friday 4 October at 5pm. No late submissions will be accepted.

Terms and Conditions:
- This scholarship is valued between $1299 and $2499 depending on the choices you make during enrolment. It is not transferable for anything other than the classes it is intended to cover and is not a cash payment – the recipient will receive a coupon code to be used to enrol in the course at no cost.
- If the recipient chooses in-person training, this must be completed within six months of the recipient announcement and cannot be done in January 2020.
- Monaco Nail Academy reserves the right to choose a recipient based on the effort, consideration and planning put into the business plan submission as well as the maturity, preparedness and commitment shown in the cover letter. No discussions will be entered into.
- All standard enrolment Terms and Conditions are automatically agreed to upon accepting this scholarship.
- Monaco Nail Academy does not provide take-home product unless purchased separately. All product used is to be used within our Auckland premises. If you choose online training, you are responsible for supplying your own product or making your way to our Auckland studio to use ours during available hours, as is standard with all online training applications.
