Hey, I’m Alisha! I first qualified as a Nail Technician with Monaco Nail Academy in early 2021. I then went on to work part-time and full-time at two other local salons for the next two years before opening my own home salon. Throughout this time I have been consistently learning and upskilling to become the best I can be.

I absolutely love my job! Whether it be creating crazy, hand-painted nail art for my clients, or even just a clean solid manicure, being able to build connections with your clients while expressing your creativity is an incredible thing.

I hold qualifications in Nail Theory and Anatomy, Gel Polish Manicures and Pedicures, Acrygel, Acrylic, Soft Gel Extensions, Electric File and Specialised Russian Manicures.

In 2025 I became a National Multi-Award Winning Nail Technician at the New Zealand National Nail competition, placing first in my division in five categories.

Alongside the support from Monaco Nail Academy, I have had the most amazing mentors and co-workers help to guide me in my nail journey. As a mentor I’m so excited to be able to share the knowledge and skills I have with others in their nail journey.

I’m based out of my home salon in Henderson, West Auckland. I have created a safe and private space that is perfect to learn in. My students are my main priority. Whatever your learning style, I will do my best to accommodate and make sure you’re comfortable throughout the training process.
