IBX, a nail treatment system that penetrates and strengthens the natural nail, emerged in the early 2010s. It revolutionized nail care by focusing on repairing and protecting the natural nail structure from within, improving overall nail health.

It’s a curable product that penetrates INTO the nail and THEN cures. This means that after application, the natural nail appears bare but now has hidden reinforcements that repair and prevent damage. You can continue to treat the nail as usual, applying gel, acrylic, or any other products onto a significantly stronger nail.

The Pros: IBX strengthens and repairs natural nails, enhancing their resilience and durability over time. It improves the appearance and condition of the nails, providing a foundation for gel or polish applications while promoting long-term nail health.

The Cons: Multiple treatments may be required to achieve significant improvement in nail strength and condition, but no one ever promised overnight success! Professional application is recommended to ensure proper penetration and effectiveness of the treatment.

There's a misconception that you need to be good before you join a lesson but this is definitely false! Your live lessons are where, after watching the pre-recorded demonstrations, a Mentor can help you in real-time. The Mentor guides you through practicing for the first time - you're not supposed to be a master.

You can also re-sit all Assessments and rewatch all pre-recorded content for the duration of your 12-month Study Period (although only the first Assessment attempt is free)

It's a common misconception that our online courses are just pre-recorded videos, however they actually include in depth live lessons done via Zoom.

Your Mentor can see your desk as you work. You can see their desk incase they need to demonstrate something for you.

This Module can be completed on its own or as part of the Foundation Certificate in Nail Technology.

If you intend to work towards the Foundation Certificate in Nail Technology - You get one overall certificate, with space for stickers that show which modules have been completed. You can order the base certificate and the corresponding sticker for this course after all criteria has been met. This option is free for all students.
