This Post Has 30 Questions

  1. Erin Sutherland

3 things I have nailed in this module are 1. Got my ratio pretty good now. It’s much easier to establish this when working on a living person rather than a practise hand or sheet but the intial attempts on the sheet and practice hand are important before starting on real people. 2. My filing has improved immensely 3. My prep is down pat now.
3 things I need to continue to work on are form application particularly customisation for tricky shaped nails, improving my blending of cover to clear beads and making sure my side walls have enough product, sometimes one side tends to be too thin
3 things I will never forget are 1. Penny’s story about monomer and powder meeting at the party and then being introduced to Brush ???? awesome story, also I’ll never forget I prefer to use forms than tips. Just my preference, I find tips such a hassle and also that powders with less pigment have better adhesion.
My advice to someone just starting with liquid and Powder would be practice your ratio lots and lots and lots and understand the chemistry and when the product is actually moldable. Once you have that down pat the rest just falls into pl so much quicker

    1. i want to keep working on the bead sizes and being able to eyeball the bead size needed. i know this will come with time 🙂

    1. how much i improved every single time i tried something. finger to finger noticeable improvements while in the lesson, and set to set improvements as well

    1. practise practise practise

Hi Kelly! Amazing work 🙂 So great to hear you’ve nailed not flooding the cuticle area – this can be a tricky one to master. 100% practice makes perfect, with every set under our belt we learn and master different techniques, even if we don’t quite realise at the time. Well done! ^Nicole
