23 Aug 2020What are three things you’ve nailed?
1. Gaining confidence using hard gel, and being able to build nice nails!
2.i got rid of all self doubt thinking I couldn’t use it As it was far stickier and “more difficult” than acrylic.
3. I’ve nailed picking up beads, I need to improve on getting the perfect size however I can pick them up cleanly.
What are three things you need to continue to work on?
1) Bead size
2)Building thin enhancements
3) uniform apex across all nail.
What are three things that really surprises you?
1) How easy hard gel was to work with when you get the hang of it.
2)how much I love playing with it!
3) How long hard gel enhancements seem to last on my clients wow!
What are three things you’ll never forget?
1) you usually need less product than you think.
2)It’s quicker than you’d expect to do a service using hard gel
3) Doing French using hard gel takes a steady hand HAHA.
What advice would you give a newbie starting this module?
I know your thinking it looks crazy challenging and it is different but you are doing to love this product!

1. I think I’ve gotten slowly better with picking up the right amount of product per nail
2. Removal was pretty simple as the hard gel files so easily
3. Building my apex into all the nails with just one bead
What are three things you really need to continue to work on?
1. Pinching the hard gel
2. Not getting my own hands sticky from the gel
3. Using Hard Gel on forms
What are three things that really surprised you?
1. Hard Gel doesn’t heat spike as long as you flash cure
2. Its pretty easy to get good coverage around the cuticle area
3. Hard gel files so easily
What are three things you will never forget?
1. Don’t file too much, hard gel is wayy softer than acrylic
2. Flash cure. Flash cure. Flash cure!
3. Reverse method only for french
What advice would you give to a newbie starting this Module?
1. Play with it heaps. I hated it when I first used it, its slowly getting better haha

1. Am happy with my backfills
2.getting better with bead application
3.happy with my removal of hardgels.
What are three things you really need to continue to work on?
1. My final structure of nail.
2. The thickness of all nails need to be matching still need to work on this.
3.definitely need to work on speed!
What are three things that really surprised you?
1. How easy hardgel was to file off
2. Thought a rebalance looked hard but surprisingly wasn’t to bad.
3. How simple a backfill is!

1. Definitely remember to flash cure!
2. Don’t over file
3. Full cure at the end!

25 Apr 2021What are three things you’ve absolutely nailed in this Module?
1. Backfill
2. Rebalance
3. Structure
What are three things you really need to continue to work on?
1. Removal , can’t see the natural nail when filing, went to wash my hands and noticed that I have gone little too far with filing. Next time I wouldn’t just brush away the debris but also cleanse maybe so I can see properly and work under lamp.
2. French tips how to work with runny white gel
3. Make sure the Lower arches are same across all nails
What are three things that really surprised you?
1. Can backfill with only brush on Gel
2. Backfill is quick
3. Rebalance was good too but only tried on couple of fingers. It was quick too.
What are three things you will never forget?
1. Flash cure
2. Can backfill with brush on Gel
3. Small bead for backfill
What advice would you give to a newbie starting this Module?
1. You will love working with hard Gel, so much easy to file than Liquid and Powder

1.Backfilling
2.Not flooding the cuticle
3.My nail prep…Etched in my brain well now!!
What are three things you really need to continue to work on?
1.Filing.. Always filing
2.My rebalance.. Just practice I guess
3.Removal , just being super careful not to file down to far
What are three things that really surprised you?
1.How much easier the filing is
2.How hard french is with hard gel..I have more appreciation for acrylic french now lol
3.The gel needs to be at the right temp or its so hard to work with
What are three things you will never forget?
1.Flash curing , then pinch
2.Trying not to get air bubbles in gel pot and also in my application
3.I can do this Carmen!!!
What advice would you give to a newbie starting this Module?
1.Don’t give up..I was so disappointed with myself today , but I had to sit back and reflect for a min. I have nearly finished , I’ve worked full time while doing this, I’ve passed all my assessments , I have listened to my tutors ,I’ve made mistakes But i tell you now I will never give up trying to be better!! I will be a great nail Tech and so can you. Back yourself girl or boy xx

1. removal and having patience
2. checking structure
3. speed – will come with time as i get more practise

1. you can rebalance an original set to get a french set of hard gel extensions
2. how easy hard gel is to file
3. you can’t soak off hard gel extensions
What are three things you will never forget?
1. flash curing and pinching
2. be careful not to overfile through the hardgel product
3. be patient

1. lots and lots of practise and always reflecting on what you can do better in your next step!!
