  1. What are three things you have absolutely nailed in this module?
    1. Gaining more control over the hard gel, getting it to work how i needed to
    2. I have got better at the flow of completing a set, for example going between hands to make full use of time.
    3. Getting a tidy smile line using gel! I didn’t expect to be able too for a while.

    What are three things you need to continue to work on?
    1. I want to keep working on getting sharp corners in the smile line
    2. I need to keep improving my c curves as I always seem to struggle in that area, even more so with hard gel if it isnt put into the lamp quick enough.
    3. I need to keep aiming to not have as many holes in the application between white to clear.

    What are three things that really surprised you?
    1. I was surprised by how it was not as hard as i expected to do french with hard gel.
    2. How fast application can be for hard gel, I took so long for french when working with acrylic so this was much quicker.
    3. That I really enjoyed using hard gel! I had come to the premature conclusion that I would not like it!

    What are three things you will never forget?
    1. Get the hand straight into the lamp to hold the c curve
    2. Squeezing while cleaning the inhibition layer can help to lock in the c curve
    3. Work between hands! Not just one at a time.

    What advice would you give a newbie starting this module?
    Hard gel is so different to acrylic! I think you will be pleasantly surprised and really enjoy working with this product! It is absolutely a new favorite of mine!

    1. My cuticle area, not too close but not too far

    2. Not giving my client a heat spike

    3.having a bit more understanding than the first time I used hard gel

    What are three things you really need to continue to work on?
    1. Getting the gel to move how I want it to move

    2. Getting the structures right the first time without having to go in again with more product

    3. Getting the pink and white the same on all the nails

    What are three things that really surprised you?

    1. The pink hard gel is in between a cover and a blush

    2. Doing French with hard gel isn’t too much harder than acrylic French

    3. Filing around the pink hard gel to get the smile line sharp was harder to do than with acrylic

    What are three things you will never forget?

    1. It is super easily affected by the temp of the room

    2. Work fast with it or it will run!

    3. Mix the white hard gel before using it

    What advice would you give to a newbie starting this Module?

    1. I personally still don’t love hard gel as I’m just so used to acrylic. Find a routine you can use for all services and it will make your life so much easier.

      I still go in with more product on at least 2-3 nails out of a set, you’re doing great 🙂

    1. I am pretty happy with my blending

    2. Not flooding the cuticle

    3. Remembering to pinch!

    1. Definitely still need to work on my string with smile lines and getting it crisp.

    2.still need to work on the structure esp the height.

    3. Can still work on picking up the right size bead.

    What are three things that really surprised you?

    1. How long it took to get the hang of using the white to make a smile line

    2. The consistency of the hard gel.

    3. How much I love using the hard gel.

    What are three things you will never forget?

    1. Don’t use to much product

    2.don’t go right to the side walls, leave a gap for the smile lines

    3. Use the string for the smile lines.

    What advice would you give to a newbie starting this Module?

    1.Patience, time and practice is the answer to hardgel. Once you have it, it’s super fun to work with!

      I loooove using the string for smile lines, SO satisfying!

  4. What are three things you’ve absolutely nailed in this Module?
    1. Overall structure was really good after I sussed using clear to fill in the dip at the smile line
    2. Filing steps, I know them all now
    3. Cuticle areas were always nice and clean which is a nice thing to always feel confident approaching

    What are three things you really need to continue to work on?
    1. Bubbles 🙁 Struggling with air in the hard gel
    2. Not having the gel run off down the sides of the form
    3. Getting my client to get their hand in the light nice and quick before the gel runs off

    What are three things that really surprised you?
    1. That hard gel is so dang runny
    2. How pretty and shiny the clear is
    3. Honestly how much I struggled with smile lines was a bit of a surprise, after doing them with other systems I found this one really hard by comparison

    What are three things you will never forget?
    1. Runny product
    2. That a thin clear layer is ideal for a flash cure and squeezing in the best c curves. I really liked how that worked so well
    3. That I had more success with the white in French when I used a small amount of product and did it in several layers.

    What advice would you give to a newbie starting this Module?
    1. Be patient and don’t expect to have it right the first go 🙂

      Chuck that gel in the fridge and rest it on an ice pack on your desk, it will make a MASSIVE difference!

  5. What are three things you’ve absolutely nailed in this Module?

    1. Filing is so much easier/quicker than acrylics

    2. C -Curves

    3. Appropriate length

    What are three things you really need to continue to work on?
    1. Bubbles

    2. Need to make sure that there’s Enough product at free edge (thickness) so the corner of the nail wouldn’t break while filing. Sometimes bit hard to see when working with clear.

    3. Filing off ( removal)

    What are three things that really surprised you?

    1. How quickly temperature can affect the application, while working. Sometimes perfect when you start but gets runny after couple of fingers are done.

    2. Ice pack on warm/hot days. Placing the gel on top of ice pack makes huge difference.

    3. C-Curves are easier to create with hard Gel due to flash curing techniques.

    What are three things you will never forget?

    1. Flash curing

    2. Ice pack if runny due to the high temperature.

    3. String for smile lines

    What advice would you give to a newbie starting this Module?

    1.My application wasnt too bad i thought !!

    2.Filing is getting better im seeing where my flaws are

    3.I have not flooded the cuticle

    What are three things you really need to continue to work on?
    1.Smile lines getting them nice and deep

    2.Getting the right thickness i really struggled seeing the clear over the black and silver forms

    3.Picking up a bead wasnt as easy as it looked

    What are three things that really surprised you?

    1.My gel was so hard i wrapped the wheat bag around it and softened it a bit and it was so much easier to use

    2.How much easier the filing is

    3.You can just add more

    What are three things you will never forget?

    1.It is self settling so let it do it thing!!

    2.if its too cold warm it up ..if its too warm put it in the fridge

    3.if your form isnt on properly …. say not tucked properly under the nail you will get cracks at the side ….

    What advice would you give to a newbie starting this Module?

    1.Keep going keep practicing you will get better and things will fall into place
