8 Nov 2021What are three things you’ve absolutely nailed in this Module?
1. Tapering in and redoing a lot of the surface filing after sculpting a square nail and filing it into another shape
2. Oval is definitely my best shape to file
What are three things you really need to continue to work on?
1. Keeping my file at the right angle to achieve the perfect straight free edge for squares and coffins
2.Visualising that the length is or isn’t consistent across all nails, including the thumbs
What are three things that really surprised you?
1. Its quite easy to change shapes with filing but not always ideal
2. the visual of a sculpted shape vs a sculpted square filed into a shape – how different they are in terms of structure and strength
What are three things you will never forget?
1. Shapes are equally about aesthetic and strength, so structure must be maintained as much as possible
2. Check, check and check again for consistency
3. Wonky sculpting can’t be filed away and will lead to wonky shaping.
What advice would you give to a newbie starting this Module?
1. Definitely give this a go both in filing and with sculpting to see which method you prefer

6 May 2022What are three things you’ve absolutely nailed in this Module?
1. most shapes should be sculpted in
2. shapes with a curve are the strongest
3. remember that the forms need to be applied correctly for the right shaoe
What are three things you really need to continue to work on?
1. sculpting stilettos and coffins
2. getting perfect structure for each shape
3. making the nail as strong as possible
What are three things that really surprised you?
1. filing in a shape loses a lot of the important structure
2. that stilletto is one of the strongest shapes
3. stilletos structure is underneath the enhancement
What are three things you will never forget?
1. to keep checking for consistancy, and add more product if needed
2. square breaks easily because the corners get caught
3. stilleto and coffin look best on longer enhancements to give the full effect
What advice would you give to a newbie starting this Module?
1. PRACTISE!!!
Becca
