8 Sep 2020What are three things you’ve absolutely nailed in this module?
1)Smooth cuticle application! I find it so nice and easy to smoothly apply this product!
2) Filing technique, I found polygel really nice to file which in turn gave me more focus on my technique rather than trying to correct any majors I caused in application.
3) Smooth overall nail, it was so nice to file because it was so simple to apply! Love polygel so much!
What are three things you need to continue to work on?
1)I plan to keep improving my c curves, trying the no cleanse sealer trick will be my next approach till I get some pinching clips as I find it so hard to get my c curve to stay in place!
2) Ensuring my lower arches are all correct across all nails, I find I will do it so well on most and miss a few! So frustrating 😔
3) Getting the right amount of product out of the tube for the nail, I seem to always over estimate what I need!
What are three things that really surprised you?
1) How smooth and velvet like poly gel feels to file!
2) How easy it was to smooth application before curing, due to the amazing work time too!
3)The speed at which I could do a set of polygel extensions.
What are three things you’ll never forget?
1)Dont get the shaping liquid under the product.
2)Poly gel is the most forgiving product in my opinion.
3) Poly gel is super duper light to wear!
What advice would you give a newbie starting this module! This one is super fun! I feel like I could really relax and enjoy this module as I could use
All the earlier learnt techniques and the product just helped make it so much better!

9 Sep 2020Love how much fun you had with this!

22 Nov 2020What are three things you’ve absolutely nailed in this Module?
1. My cuticle area usually is pretty good as you can move the poly gel around really easily
2. Getting a good apex in
3. Picking up the technique relatively quick because its so similar to acrylic
What are three things you really need to continue to work on?
1. Minimising heat spike
2. Not having to add any extra beads after filing and finding a missing gap
3. Pinching the poly gel at the right stage
What are three things that really surprised you?
1. Flash curing the polygel really helps with minimising heat spikes
2. How easy it is to play with
3. Its super easy to file
What are three things you will never forget?
1. Don’t over file, poly gel files so easily that it doesn’t take much to over file it
2. Polygel isn’t amazing at keeping the sharp shapes for long
3. The smell of the shaping liquid is amazing ahaha
What advice would you give to a newbie starting this Module?
1. If you enjoy acrylic, you’ll love poly gel! It’s like the easier version of acrylic! A lifesaver if you’re still trying to get the hang of apply the beads and getting your structure correct.

8 Feb 2021What are three things you’ve absolutely nailed in this Module?
1. Getting faster!
2. Paying attention overall to structure – especially lower arches and c curves
3. Filing, so much easier thank the nail gods for that!
What are three things you really need to continue to work on?
1. Still structure – correct apex especially
2. Using the right amount of product – I always second guess and think I need a “little bit more” in the initial bead I squeeze out
3. Speed. Always want to be faster at creating a great set
What are three things that really surprised you?
1. The texture of polygon overall is unlike anything I’ve used before
2. Filing – it’s so smooth compared to rock hard acrylic
3. I know it shouldn’t be a surprise because you told us, but that shaping solution is yummy (no, I didn’t drink it 😛 )
What are three things you will never forget?
1. How thin you can drag out polygel
2. Smooth filing
3. The dust. SO much dust.
What advice would you give to a newbie starting this Module?
1. If you did the acrylic module, prepare to keep practicing thaw things you learned – applying forms, tending to structure, filing steps. You’re honestly half way there with Polygel after doing Acrylic, ad just need to learn about the new product system.
