    1. Getting a nice clean finish

    1. That it was quite simple.

    1. Don’t take base coat Up to the cuticle on the first coat.

    2. For extra strength do a Layout of clear underneath.

    What advice would you give to a newbie starting this Module?

    1.Found the inperson classes great for some hands on knowledge.

      I had the steps on a cheat sheet in my drawer (out of sight of the client) for about 2 months till I memorised them haha

    1. Wiping excess product into the bottle, not the rim

    2. No flooding (application)

    3. French with nice smile lines directly in the product pot without french dip tray

    What are three things you really need to continue to work on?
    1. Speed overall
    2. How much product is perfect for even coverage (application)
    3. Sitting back while I work especially with base

    What are three things that really surprised you?

    1. Your eyeballs really DO burn -_-
    2. How stubborn dip can be to remove
    3. How challenging glitter dip can be to get even coverage

    1. how to build an apex with dip

    2. the importance of not getting activator on your base brush or vice versa (solid brush is hard to work with!)

    3. How the top coat really does end up high shine if you are meticulous and your client sits STILL

    What advice would you give to a newbie starting this Module?

    1. I redid my dip lesson as I really didn’t like the result of my first try, this made it much easier when I got to the French stage as I was a bit more confident with the products. Repeat your lessons if you don’t feel like you’ve nailed them.

    1. I used the top coat too son after the activator and cured the brush – i had brush cleaner so is all fine now
    2. Not making as much of a mess
    3. top coat finish

    1. More steps than i thought!
    2. How strong it is
    3. How easy it is to damage the brushes

    1. Brush excess powder as you go along – dont wait until you have dipped all fingers
    2. How to shock cure and how to prevent it

    2. Buffing to a high shine over the dip makes it feel incredibly silky!

    3. That French is not as hard as I first thought it would be

    1. Make sure you’ve wiped off all excess powder before applying more base coat

    2. Buffing to a high shine

    What advice would you give to a newbie starting this Module?

    1. Lots of practice, and don’t forget to brush off all excess powder before applying more base coat!

    1. Finally applying the base cost evenly & thinly as possible.

    2. Applying close to the cuticle as possible without the resin stinging my eyes with the product.

    3. Getting the French smile like evenly on all nails

    What are three things you really need to continue to work on?

    1. Making sure I wipe the brush inside the bottle and not on the the top

    2. Not applying to much activator

    3. Filling down most of the product during removal

    What are three things that really surprised you?

    1. The strong smell the base coat if you are to close

    2. Overlay only. Not for extensions

    3. How much filing I needed to do before removing product.

    What are three things you will never forget?

    1. Never wipe on top of the bottle always inside

    2. Always use a new or near new 100 grit buffer

    3. Be at a good distance to avoid the product from stinging my eyes.

    What advice would you give to a newbie starting this Module?

    1. After your first couple of attempts, you will slowly get the hang of it. Doesn’t matter how long it takes as long as you are practicing & asking questions if needed. The Awesome educators will ensure you get it right 🙂

    1.I wouldnt say completely nailed it but my application of my base coat is getting so much better

    2.Knowing the steps off by heart not having to refer back to my notes

    3.The prep steps..

    What are three things you really need to continue to work on?
    1.Not Gluing my bottle lids shut!!

    2.Always working on my smile lines

    3.Having my product on the correct side so im not reaching over and nearly spilling all my precious dip!!

    What are three things that really surprised you?

    1.That you can over do the aplicator

    2.How much you can fix up on the second dip! If you miss a bit you can easily get it on the second dip and it looks great still

    3.I never knew you could do natural overlay with french.

    What are three things you will never forget?

    1.Thin application

    2.Not too much aplicator

    3.Wiping my brush on the inside as to not glue the lids shut

    What advice would you give to a newbie starting this Module?

    1.Listen to the people who are telling you that you are doing great. I feel im not but everyone keeps telling me i am so this is really encouraging

    2. you can add more layers on weaker nails, and they wont peel off

    3. resin stings your eyes as it absorbs the moisture

    2. Even application along bumpy nails by using the dip to create an even base

    3. Not glueing the lid shut (yet lol)

    What are three things you really need to continue to work on?

    1. Remembering the steps – I can’t help but look at my cheat sheet to make sure I’m doing it all correctly!

    2. Waiting to remove dip, not peeking!! Although, I didn’t peak last time and they came off beautifully so hopefully I can make that a habit 🤞🏻

    3. Buffing them nice and smooth!

    What are three things that really surprised you?

    1. Once I got the hang of dip, I actually really liked it. I despised it in the beginning but it really does get better!

    2. How long it lasted once I got the hang of it

    3. How shiny the nails turn out in the end!

    What are three things you will never forget?

    1. Not to get too close or you will burn your eyes haha

    2. Be careful with the base coat rim – I think I’m over paranoid about this but it’s worked so far haha

    3. Don’t check the nail wraps too early! To use a timer or a clock hand to make sure I’m not checking too early

    What advice would you give to a newbie starting this Module?

    1. Give it a go! I found dip impossible in the beginning and was extremely confused when others had said they loved it. When you practise and problem solve (with the help of mentors and tutors), it does get easier and can be the perfect service for certain clients 😊. Don’t give up!

    1. Making sure I don’t glue my bottle shut

    3. Getting my pink to white ratio right

    1. Don’t glue the bottle shut remember to not wipe the brush over the top of the bottle

    2. Don’t get too close to the product as it burns your eyes

    3. You don’t need a lot of activator otherwise it shock cures

    What advice would you give to a newbie starting this Module?

    1. French is nowhere near as hard as you think it is and it does get easier as you practice even though it seems daunting when you see all the steps

    1. Feeling happy with my first set even though they were not 100% perfect
    2. No stingy eyes for me yet!
    3. Wiping the brush off on inside of bottle
    What are three things you really need to continue to work on?
    1. Even application of base coat
    2. Getting some efile training
    3. Applying and blending tips. Even though it is better to only overlay dip on natural nail I do want to know how to do everything in all ways possible.
    What are three things that really surprised you?
    1. How much I enjoy doing dip
    2. I wasn’t as hard on myself with the dip application compared to traditional and gel polish
    3. Dip can be used to do male manicures
    What are three things you will never forget?
    1. Wiping on inside of the bottle
    2. Importance of brushing after dip and before applying base again
    3. How fun learning new systems is when you stop stressing and overthinking
    What advice would you give to a newbie starting this Module?
    1. Don’t stress and overthink it…follow the steps, refer back to notes when needed and keep practicing.

    Three things nailed:
    1. Not flooding my base
    2. Dipping speed
    3. memorising the general sequence of application
    Three things i need to work on:
    1. being careful with how i wipe at the bottle neck
    2. Achieving a perpendicular smile line for french
    3. Activator to top coat step of the process
    Three thing that surprised me
    1. Dip Manis for me have been harder to do quickly, i find i take a long time trying to be precise
    2. I love the way a french dip turns out, very crisp line
    3. how much the outcome can be affected by slight changes or inconsistencies in the application
    Three things i wont forget
    1. applying a clear stroke of dip for strength
    2. to be patient and WAIT for my soak offs
    3. that top coat will shut solid very quickly even with the smallest amount on the rim!
    Advice
    – take the time to look after your dipping products especially Base and Top coat – it will prevent emergencies like solid shut bottles and having no product to do a service!
