    1. The actual dipping

    1. The cuticle area clean

    What are three things that really surprised you?

    1. Takes longer to remove than gel

    1. The actual dipping the finger into the powder

    2. application of the base coat (the first time was a trial but i got the hang of it soon after)

    3. The filing by hand for the removal.

    What are three things you really need to continue to work on?
    1. The smile line for the french tips with powder getting the line perfect.

    2. not NEEDING a 3rd coat.

    3. getting the lines perfect around the lateral folds

    What are three things that really surprised you?

    1. How easy the application is

    2. how well the removal can be if you can get the filing part done well.

    3. that you can do backfills with dip powder.

    What are three things you will never forget?

    1. Dust off the nail, doing it one at a time as Penny showed in the videos. Getting into the habit of doing it makes it automatic to do

    2. Dry wipe after the activator

    3. Dont be tempted to peek at them while they are soaking. LEAVE THEM ALONE

    What advice would you give to a newbie starting this Module?

    1. Take your time, its a bit different to gel polish but its a really fun product to use, so have fun while doing it. And dont forget to tell your client to let you do the dipping and to relax their hands.

      You’re only tempted once and then you realise how bloody long it takes to soak after you peek hahaha

    1. Bringing the pot of dip to the finger

    2. Thin coats of base coat

    3. Brushing off base coat from within the bottle

    What are three things you really need to continue to work on?
    1. The cuticle area

    2. The angle the finger goes into the french dip tray

    3. All the steps, Ive got the cheat sheet!

    What are three things that really surprised you?

    1. That you can do backfills, although i prefer to soak off each time

    2. How to do a chip repair

    3. The actual strength of the product

    1. File more than gel polish before soaking

    2. Activate!

    3. Keep wrapped up for at least 10 minutes and do not be temped to check

    1. Practise and refer back to these videos as often as needed

    1.Wrapping up my nails nice and tight so they don’t fall off

    2.Not daring to check before the 20 mins is up….Great self control not having a peek : )

    3.The filing before applying the tin foil

    What are three things you really need to continue to work on?
    1.Remembering to put some oil on before I wrap up the nails. I almost always forget this 🙁

    2.That it is not ideal to realise when you go to soak off that you are nearly out of Artistic polish remover

    1.That as soon as you take that foil off it starts to go hard straight away again

    2.How important it is you don’t take a peek

    3.The chewing gum like consistency when its ready to come off

    1.Don’t peek before 20 mins

    2.That if you have done say 3 layers of dip you need to give it more time before you check

    3.Always have a spare bottle of polish remover

    What advice would you give to a newbie starting this Module?

    1.Keep practicing keep going you have got this.. If you stuff up try again and again until you are happy

    1. Patience while removing

    2. Hand filling I think when removing the product , haven’t practiced on other people’s hands yet, will be bit easier to do on other people’s hands. 2nd time was much better

    1. Still everything I think only got to practice couple of times,

    2. Looking forward to E-file training after completing this course.

    1. So much filling and longer soak off than gel

    2. As soon as you remove foil, it goes harder again.

    3. Backfill can be done

    What are three things you will never forget?

    1. Do not peek while soaking, give it it’s time for soaking

    2. Longer soak off than gel, don’t touch before 20 mins.

    3. Start with pinky, if not ready put the fresh foil on and set the timer for another 5 mins, after 5 mins don’t touch that pinky move to the ring finger instead and so on

      It definitely shouldn’t take 30 minutes without at E-File, 20 minutes maaaximum

    1. Adding cuticle oil to the cuticle before adding foils
    2. Making sure to file down the product as much as possible to ensure easier soak off

    What are three things you really need to continue to work on?
    1. Not getting tempted to peep while product is soaking off
    2. Making sure my backfills are even with no ridges
    3. Speeding up my service time

    1. That you can do a backfill on Dip

    3. The more layers, the stronger the product BUT the longer your soak off time will be

    1. Don’t be nervous. There are quite a few different steps during application but you will get them nailed down in no time.

    1. Same advice I have to give myself, Don’t be too impatient, especially with removal!

    1. understanding the difference between and rebalance and backfill

    2. fixing repairs

    What are three things you really need to continue to work on?
    1. accuracy of smile line

    2. waiting on the smile line to dry before tapping off the excess

    What are three things that really surprised you?

    1. you cant backfill a french dip

    2. a rebalance isnt the same as a backfill

    3. if you take a wrap off during a removal too soon, it will turn back into a solid

    1. you cant infill a french dip manicure

    2. don’t perform anymore than 2-3 backfills

    3. don’t peek when removing dip!!

    When removing dip just wrap it up and set a timer don’t even think about looking at it beforehand

    1. Doing a removal with a healthy undamaged nail left
    2. Being patient with the longer soak off time
    3. Filing the top layer of dip without damaging any skin or natural nail regrowth
    What are three things you really need to continue to work on?
    1. Getting efile training
    2. I have not done any backfills yet as I am focusing on application and complete removal so doing backfills is something I am yet to try
    3. All the steps as there is always room for improvement
    What are three things that really surprised you?
    1. 20 minutes is really not that long when you enjoy the system
    2. How much I am enjoying dip
    3. That dip is not as popular or well used as gel and acrylic
    What are three things you will never forget?
    1. Always better to do a soak off than to do backfills
    2. Never peak before the soak off time has been reached
    3. Dip is FUN!
    What advice would you give to a newbie starting this Module?
    1. The first try wont be perfect but after every attempt you will get closer to perfection
