Technology is a wonderful thing! Lots of people wonder how we’re able to do some of our lessons online. Other than the live video feed where we’re watching and coaching in real time, in this case we used photos too.

I was on a live Zoom with this student, coaching her through BIAB application. I asked her to send through close-up photos of her application, which you can see in 1 & 2. The apex was perFECTion but the rounding at the free edge gave the impression of a thicker nail.

I shared my screen, showing the student her own photo. She can see my cursor so I can ‘point’ and I can also draw on the screen! So in 3 & 4 I was able to show her exactly how I wanted her shape to change AND where to aim her file.

Thirty seconds later we had progress!
